Grant by Espus, son of Cradoc Dv, to Margam Abbey, of all his land of the Fee of Peittevin, in the territory of Kenefek; rent, half - a - mark yearly, with three marks, the rent of six years, paid beforehand. And if he dies before he has an heir by his wife, the daughter of Res, son of Euhan, the Abbey to hold all the land in frank almoign; if he has an heir, then twelve acres and his body, and two shilling abated from the rent. Sureties: Res Coed and his brethren; Ithell son of Riwel, and his brethren: Geoffrey son of Canethur Du, and his brethren.
